Meet our Instructors
Scott Fowler, Founder
Scott has extensive experience as a jeweler and an instructor of jewelry making. He has taught at School of Visual Arts, teaching students an array of techniques. He has also worked on pieces for productions for Netflix, Hulu, and various artists, like Madonna. He has also contributed to various other entertainment production companies.
Robbie Stinchcomb, 3D Software Instructor
Robbie Stinchcomb is Bushwick Jewelry Casting's 3D Software Instructor. They have been working as a lead footwear designer for several years, including as a footwear designer and 3D pioneer at Adidas. Most recently they focus on footwear design at the brand MSCHF.
Abbir Malik, Grillz Instructor
Abbir Malik is the Co-founder of the Jewelry brand Konsensuss. She has 5 years of experience making Jewelry and Grillz. Abbir’s work has been featured in Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, Paper Magazine, Schon Magazine, and on Beyonces Renaissance Tour. She has also made jewelry including grillz for celebrities such as Earth Eater and recently Julia Fox.
Greg Pestillo, Stone Setting Instructor ​
Greg brings over 20 years of experience in the jewelry industry, specializing in pavé and micro pavé setting, repair, and platinum fabrication. He began his career at a boutique shop in New York’s Lower East Side and has since worked with renowned houses including Harry Winston and Tiffany & Co. Greg graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) jewelry design program in 2010, with a focus on bench work, and further trained in advanced engraving and diamond setting at the GRS Training Center. In recent years, he has focused on bridal jewelry, offering end-to-end expertise from CAD design and custom wax carving to final setting and finishing.
